Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, H.E. Mr. Chen Chuandong met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan H.E. Mr. Ayman Safadi on February 11, They exchanged views on deepening China-Jordan strategic partnership.

Ambassador Chen conveyed to H.E. Mr. Safadi cordial greetings and best wishes for the year of Ox from State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China H.E. Mr. Wang Yi. He reaffirmed that China attaches great importance to and actively promotes exchanges and cooperation with Jordan in various fields, and is committed to jointly fighting the COVID-19 pandemic with Jordan, continuously enriching the good bilateral relations.

Deputy Prime Minister Safadi welcomed Ambassador Chen to his new post, and extended greetings to the Chinese people on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.
