China and Jordan enjoy long-term friendly relations, and the friendship between the two peoples goes back to ancient times. Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1977, our two countries have always respected and treated each other as equals. In September 2015, China and Jordan established a strategic partnership. We work together to promote the "Belt and Road Initiative", support each other inresponding to COVID-19, contributing to the well-being of our peoples and peace in the region, actively forging a China-Arab community with a shared future.

The Chinese Embassy is committed to healthy and stable growth of China-Jordan relations, greater people-to-people friendship, expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in all fields, and stands with Jordan in fighting the pandemic and overcoming other challenges. We believe that with our joint efforts, China-Jordan relations will enjoy even greater development and become examplatery for state-to-state relations.
