On September 28, the Embassy of China in Jordan held an online event to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, attended by Jordanian ministers, parliamentarians, friendship associations, members of the diplomatic corps and members of the Chinese community.

 

In his speech, the Chinese Ambassador H.E Chen Chuandong reviewed the great achievements of the Chinese people led by the Communist Party of China in the past century and since the founding of the People's Republic of China. He also spoke highly of Jordan's achievements since inception of its statehood 100 years ago. He lauded the profound friendship between China and Jordan and called on parties to continuously consolidate and enrich the China-Jordan strategic partnership, and move forward side by side in the journey of the second centenary for the two countries.

 

Guests from the Jordanian side warmly congratulated the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, commended the great achievements of the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. They spoke highly of Jordan-China relations and expressed their desire to further strengthen the friendly cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
