On February 12, H.E. Chen Chuandong, the Chinese Ambassador to Jordan, attended the closing ceremony of the Huawei 2023-2024 ICT Competition for Jordan and presented certificates to the winning Jordanian university students.

Ambassador Chen emphasized that China has steadfastly pursued its innovation-driven development strategy, achieving significant progress in the digital economy field and emerging as a primary driver of global digital economic growth. He expressed China's readiness to collaborate with Jordan, under both countries' development strategies and by leveraging Jordan's stable environment, abundant human resources and strong innovative spirit, to bolster bilateral digital economic cooperation and advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
