To further facilitate international travels to China, the Chinese Embassy in Jordan will provide walk-in visa application services starting November 20, 2023. Visa applicants can log on to the China Online Visa Application (COVA) website to fill in the form and then go to the Consular Section of the Embassy to submit the hard copies of visa application documents. Prior online appointment is no longer required.

In the initial implementation period of appointment-free application, during peak hours, the Consular Section may see a significant increase of applicants and longer waiting time. Applicants are advised to arrange their time for submission accordingly based on their travel itineraries. Please follow instructions of staff on site, take your number from the ticket dispenser and wait to be called.
