Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Chen Chuandong met with Khalil Tawfiq, Chairman of the Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) and other members of Board of Directors on June 29 to exchange views on issues of common concern.

    Ambassador Chen thanked ACC for its positive contribution to the development of Chinese Jordanian economic and trade relations. He briefed the guests on the current situation of trade and investment between the two countries, and warmly invited Jordanian business community to actively participate in trade exhibitions and online or offline training programs sponsored by China in order to enhance bilateral economic and trade relations.

Chairman Tawfiq stressed that the ACC and the Jordanian business community regard China as an important partner and are eagerly looking forward to further strengthening economic and trade exchanges with China.

Ambassador Chen answered questions from the ACC guests, including promoting resumption of work and production, facilitating personnel exchanges, and high-flying international transportation cost.
