On June 17, Ambassador of China in Jordan Chen Chuandong met with Khalil El Haj Tawfiq, Chairman of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, and other members of the board of directors. They exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, including furthering bilateral economic and trade relations, and expanding two-way investment against the backdrop of protracted COVID-19 pandemic.
In his remarks, Ambassador Chen lauded ACC for its contribution to promoting bilateral economic and trade relations. He stressed that China is willing to share its experience with Jordan in epidemic prevention and control, vocational training and irrigated agriculture. He also hoped that the two sides continue to make joint efforts to overcome the adverse impact of COVID-19 and further broaden and deepen bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
