Notice on Requirement of Nucleic Acid Test and IgM Anti-body Test for China-Bound Passengers

In order to reduce cross-border transmission of Covid-19, starting from March 9th, 2021, all passengers on flights from Jordan to China will be required to take nucleic acid and IgM anti-body tests within 48 hours before boarding the flights and then apply for a green health code with the "HS/HDC" mark.

III. Foreign Passengers Applying for Certified Health Declaration Form

 Foreign passengers can apply for the Electronic Health Declaration Form by logging on the website of http://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ via computer or smart phone. Foreign passengers can fill in the information, declare health condition and upload the testing certificates online, which will then be examined and verified by the Chinese Embassy in Jordan. Upon approval, they will receive the Electronic Health Declaration Form, which will be displayed in QR code with the "HDC" mark. Foreign passengers must present the electronic or printed code, and follow the procedures for inspection by relevant airlines during boarding.

IV. Reminder

(I)The IgM antibody test must be performed using serum of venous blood samples. Other testing methods such as finger-prick blood sampling will not be accepted.

(II)Apart from IgM or IgG positive results due to COVID-19 vaccination, passengers who have confirmed COVID-19 infection history or have tested positive in any of PCR, IgM or IgG but not confirmed as infected with COVID-19 should send lung CT or X-ray examination report produced by local hospitals, as well as two PCR negative test certificates (with at least 24 hours interval) to consulate_jor@mfa.gov.cn. If these documents are acceptable, applicants should observe 14 days of quarantine and health condition monitoring before travel. The Chinese Embassy in Jordan will then issue the "HS/HDC" if the applicant can provide negative PCR and IgM certificates 48 hours before boarding.
