The 2nd China-Arab Business Conference was held in Jordan

The 2nd China-Arab Business Conference was held in Amman during June 18-19 under the theme "Deepening Cooperation, Sharing Prosperity".

As a significant event under the framework of China-Arab Cooperation Forum, the conference was organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Federation of Arab Businessmen.

Vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Luo Haocai, Arab Business Council Chairman Hamidi Tabbaa, Chairman of CCPIT Wan Jifei, Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ziad Fariz attended the conference, along with over 800 Chinese and Arab businessmen and representatives from different economic sectors.

The great event attracted many significant companies or organizations to attend, including Huawei Technologies Co.,Ltd, China Great Wall Asset Management Co.,China Xinxing Corporation(Group),China Non-ferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd., ZTE Corporation, China Oilfield Services Limitied(COSL) Middile East FZE, China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation(SINOPEC) Group Middle East Office and Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co..

During the conference, 25 working papers have been discussed within 5 sessions. They focused on opportunities and prospects of Arab-Chinese cooperation in various economic and political fields, including topics on prospects of Arab-Chinese cooperation in the field of industry, advanced technology, tourism, contracting and training, opportunities and investment climate in Jordan. The conference ended with the Amman Declaration.
